1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Liber ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the App.

2. What Liber Does

Liber uses Apple's Screen Time API to display book summaries when you attempt to open selected apps. Completing a summary grants a configurable grace period of unrestricted access to that app. These are the core mechanics of the service.

3. Screen Time & Device Permissions

The App requires Screen Time permissions to function. By granting these permissions, you authorize Liber to:

• Monitor attempts to open apps you have designated as blocked
• Display reading content before granting access
• Enforce grace period timers after reading completion

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings, which will disable the App's core functionality.

4. Content

Book summaries provided in the App are original works created for educational and informational purposes. They are not verbatim reproductions of copyrighted books. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but summaries are condensed and interpretive by nature — they are not a substitute for reading the original work.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the App's blocking mechanisms
• Use the App in any way that violates Apple's App Store Guidelines or Terms of Service
• Reproduce or redistribute the App's summary content without permission
